A fairer chance for every family
We believe the possibility of parenthood should not be decided by financial circumstance.
Pathway to Parenthood Foundation (PTPF) exists because medicine can offer a pathway to parenthood that many Nigerian families cannot afford to take. We help close that gap through responsible co-funding.

Why does PTPF exist?
Two people can receive the same medical advice. Only one may be able to afford to follow it.
For many individuals and couples, the barrier is not knowing what to do next. It is paying for it. Fertility treatment is expensive, it rarely takes a single attempt, and the cost often arrives at the same time as building a career, a home and a life.
PTPF exists for that gap.
Founded by someone who has walked this road
Pathway to Parenthood Foundation was born from a journey deeply understood, not merely observed.
Our founder and his wife tried for 13 years to become parents. They experienced the emotional weight, the uncertainty of repeated fertility treatments, and the profound financial constraints and sacrifices that came with each attempt.
Through that journey, one reality became impossible to ignore:
For many, the dream of parenthood remains unfulfilled not because a pathway does not exist, but because the cost of accessing it is beyond their reach.
That realization became the purpose of PTPF.
To bridge the financial gap between the desire to become a parent and access to the treatments that could make it possible.
Because financial barriers should never stand in the way of the dream of becoming a parent.
When medicine creates a pathway to parenthood, financial circumstance should not be what closes it.
Our mission
To make the pathway to parenthood possible where financial barriers might otherwise end the journey, by mobilising compassionate funding, trusted partnerships and responsible support for individuals and couples pursuing the families they hope to build.
